HUGE update time :) . Almost all the website has had some sort of makeover, not least the SNEAK PEAK page, where'll you see a brand new figure being made up!

However, the BIG news is reserved for Servant Prime! As you can see, it's been superbly sculpted by Allan Carrasco, and it's taken from Ricardo Delgado's Hieroglyph series. Alas, the comic is long gone, but I hope you can get a little bit of an idea of what it was like by heading to the HIEROGLYPH page I've done.

The sculpt went off to the casters this morning, and for once, this chap is going to be put onto pre-order as soon as I get some test casts to check over!

Lots more stuff coming up in the future, so stay fixed to the screen for a while!

The store is alive with the sound of...erm...grunting! I've very happy to say that the Barbarian is finally on general release, and is available to buy. As a little bonus, the first 100 to be sold have a whole £1 knocked off the price (woo ;) !), so now it's only £12 (and that includes P&P anywhere in the world!). Thanks to you all for your patience!

Fully restocked on the Elf :) . Next week I should have some fairly big announcements coming up. Release of the Barbarian draws close, the third figure is coming along well, and if you're lucky I might just divulge a few choice bits of info about the fourth figure! Yay!

Okay, so new stock hasn't quite arrived yet. Next week then :) . Rummaging around, I did find a few other ones lurking in the stock box, so we're okay at the minute! Other news: the Barbarian is at the casters and I should be getting a test copy soon! Finally, more info on the third figure will be be coming very soon. Keep watching!

Just a stock update for you. Currently, I'm exceedingly low on stock of the Elf. As in I have a measly TWO (!) in stock at the moment. Don't fret. We're not up to the 300 just yet, and more figures are on their way (hopefully next week). So, if you do get a pretty page come up just as you press 'pay', just email me and I'll let you know just as soon as they're ready to go. I'll even put one aside for you. Because I'm usually quite a nice chap really.

Two new fantastic interpretations of the figure :) . The first is by Dave Heathfield (aka: Mr Scream), and the second by Alex Riley (aka: alextheartist). Very different to Angel's, and absolutely fab! Can't tell you how much of a buzz it is to see the figure starting to be painted up! On Sat 24th April, SALUTE is taking place. A huge show at the London Excel with absolutely loads of fantastic figures and other wonders on display. Whilst I'll not be having a stand, I will be there incommunicado and will be bringing with me a small amount of little Elf Lords :) . They'll each have a numbered certificate and everything else, so if you are at all interested - even if it's just to see what the thing looks like in the flesh, please hunt me down! I'll be the bloke with fuzzy hair and a JoeK Minis business card stuck on my person somewhere! Alternatively, send me an email and maybe we can make an arrangement! What fun :)

Well, the first 10 days of the web-store's life have proved pretty darn successful! Phase one of the project has seemingly worked, figure 2 is being sculpted, and the design work for figure 3 has just begun too! I'm kinda feeling that JoeK Minis has 'properly' started :) . So, thanks to everyone who's bought a figure so far (of course, if folk want to buy more, you'll hear no objections from me ;) ), and I really hope you like the next few!

The Web-Store is now open for business! Everyone on the pre-order list has been informed and are (hopefully) buying as we speak, so it's now time to open the doors for everyone else :) . There's not vast amounts in at the moment, but rest assured that stock will be replenished as and when needed. Remember though - there's only 300 going to be made up for sale, so I can't guarantee how long they'll last!

Finally decided on a casting run for the first figure. Decided on a limited run of 300. The reasons are two-fold. Firstly, I really want this first figure to be 'special' (for want of a better term), and I want folk to feel that they're getting something really decent for their hard-earned cash. I know these things are expensive (god knows how much money I've ploughed into the hobby over the years), but I hope you think that it's worth it.

The second reason is that I don't want JoeK Minis to be a 'one fig wonder'! I always anticipated that the money from sales goes back into the business so at the end of it all I have a range of lovely figures, and this is the fundamental rule of JoeK Minis!

Finally, finally! The first batch of the Elf Lord has been shipped to me today, and as soon as I get them (and check them over), I'll be starting to mail out the newsletter advising all of you how to give me your money if you still want to! Because of the way the figures are made, the batches are not huge - the first run is approx. 50, and within another week I should get the next 50. All folk on my pre-order list will be able to get one, with no problems but please be a little patient with me, if you've only recently sent me an email! The remainder of the stock will then be put up for general sale on the web-site, and going forward more stock will be made as and when required!

Finally! Just had confirmation from the castors that production of the figure is now properly in progress, so will have stock sometime next week, with a further batch the week after too. Thanks to everyone who's registered interest with the figure so far!

The first test cast arrived today :) . There needs to be a small reworking to the mould (well, according to the casters - I'd have been satisfied with it, but I guess that's why I don't cast myself ;) ), but it's great to have a little resin figure my hands! Not too long to go now! I will just say that interest has been really amazing on it - so much so that I doubt the initial cast run will last long enough to be put up on the on-line store when I get that sorted out here. The only way to get one at the moment will be via joining the mailing list - and as soon as I get them, you'll then be the first to know!

Happy days :) JoeK Minis Elf Lord sculpt sits near the top of the charts for the last couple of weeks on CMON! Of course, this has been hastily edited, as it was No.1, and now No.3. Hey, it's still lovely. You don't know how much I want to paint it up now! Soon, my precious...soon.

Yay! The sculpt is winging its way to my casting company, with an awful lot of insurance ;) . Quite honestly, the thought of it going walkabout in the post is not worth thinking about! Anyway, the good news is that the figure should be ready to buy and ship near the beginning of March! I'll keep everyone posted.
